“You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”
– Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I am fortunate to have a diverse group of family, friends, and acquaintances that have helped me be the person I am today.
One who strives to live an authentic life with integrity and honesty. An optimist who believes if you work hard, and passionate about what you are doing, you will find joy and achieve self-fulfillment rather than basing your success or failure on what others think or say. "I never lose. I either win or learn" – Nelson Mandela
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and attended Christian institutions throughout my academic career. I believe the values learned at these schools have helped guide me in challenging situations. My younger brother tested my patience as we grew up, but I see now he was only helping me to endure greater test of patience as I have gotten older. My parents were hard working public servants that provided me a world of opportunities, which I realize more clearly now.
I enjoy creating, photography, building terrariums, traveling, reading, documentaries, exercising, racquetball, basketball, and golf.
To make a difference wherever I am, with whomever I am with while sharing the love that Jesus has shown to me with others.
I am not a self-promoter, but a promoter of others.
Just because we speak the same language doesn’t mean we will hear the same message. Make sure you get to know the people you want to communicate to and craft your message accordingly.
